That explains it. My book lists her as EMMA
Sorentho Dowling. It States that she was married three times. First to Hohn Harris, then to Joe Thornton, and finally to Nathan
Dryden. Emma and the latter husband are buried together in High Bluff Cemetery just
East of Waycross, GA.

I'm looking for info regarding the Dowlings that came to Warren County, Ohio, in the 1850s, from Ireland. Margaret Dowling married Thomas Dwyer, also from Ireland. They later moved to Piqua, OH. CATHERINE SCOTT WAS BORN IN AVOCA,RATHDRUM,
CO.WICKLOW.AND MAY HAVE MARRIED THERE?
JOSEPH SNR. WAS A POLICEMAN,AND I GOT SOME INFO FROM THE GARDA ARCHIVES.
