Obituary:-
Daughter of James Coskrey and Zula Lee Johnson Dowling. Frances married Frank Ward Cayce on June 25, 1940.

FLORENCE - Mrs. Frances Dowling Cayce, 40, of 540 Oleander Drive, died suddenly at her home at 1 p.m. Tuesday. She was the wife of Frank W. Cayce, president of Moore-Fonvielle and Cayce, Inc.

Mrs. Cayce was born in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of Zulale Johnson Dowling of Columbus, Ga. and the late J. C. Dowling of Clayton, Ala. She was a graduate of Randolph Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, Va.

Mrs. Cayce lived in Birmingham until she came to Florence with her husband 12 years ago. She was a charter member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and took an active part in it's activities.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Frank Cayce Jr.; and her mother, Mrs. J. C. Dowling, all of Florence.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday from the St. Paul Methodist Church by the Rev. C. S. Floyd, pastor of the church. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham. Dr. Robert Bugg of Norwood Methodist Church will be in charge of committal services.
