Citation Detail: Obituary of DOWLING, LORETTA:- The death has occurred of Loretta Kenny (née Dowling); Garryduff Court, Castlebar, Mayo / Mountmellick, Laois; Loretta Kenny; The death has occurred of Loretta Kenny nee Dowling, Garryduff Court, Castlebar and Riverdale Court and Windsor, Castlebar and formerly of Mount Mellick, Co. Laois, unexpectedly at Galway University Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late John and loving mother of Helen, Sean, Michael, Catherine, Denis, Loretta, Anthony, Margaret, Geraldine, Paraic, Marian and Jarlath. She is sister of Leo Dowling, Co. Laois and the late May, John, Joe, Kathleen and Mikey. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and her many friends. Aged 85 years Loretta was a very kind and caring person. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.; Loretta will repose at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Friday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Church of the Holy Rosary arriving at 7.30. Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Castlebar. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Sacred Heart Day Hospital, c/o the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Castlebar. The Funeral Mass may be viewed here. [S2704] SOURCE (Short): Various, Title: Internet Websites On-Line, Citation Detail: Obituary of DOWLING, LEO:- Leo Dowling, Knockanina, Mountrath and late of Drinagh, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. March 9th, 2022, Peacefully after a brief illness at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Lawler), sisters Mary (Farrell) and Kathleen (Laois), Loretta Kenny (Mayo), brothers Mikey (Laois), John and Joe (UK). He will be sadly missed by his dedicated carer Jim Dunne and family, and health carer Ellen, his many nieces, nephews in Ireland and the U.K., extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Leo Rest In Peace. Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown (Eircode R32 TN84), this Friday evening from 5.30 o'c with prayers in the funeral home at 7 o'c. Removal on Saturday morning (March 12th) at 9.40 o'c to St. Fintan's Church, Mountrath, for Funeral Mass at 10 o'c, followed by burial in St. Fintan's Cemetery, Mountrath.
