Norman L. Dowling, 69, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Philadelphia. Norman is survived by his wife of 42 years, the former Kitty B. Rohm.

Born July 8, 1947, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Norman E. and Clara A. Carson Dowling.

Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Muncy VFW Post 4328. Norman retired from Textron in 2012, after 10 years of service. He loved camping, doing yard work and was a man of all trades.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Kenneth (Wendy) Reeder and Scott Reeder, all of Trout Run, Robyn (Gary) Kline, of Linden and Shawn Reeder, of Williamsport; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Sidney, Dreana, Alante and Charlee; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Lela Yoder, of Williamsport; a brother, John Dowling, of English Center; and several nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.

In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Norman's name to the Marine Corps League, Williamsport Detachment, C/O Keith Miller, 507 1/2 Cemetery Street Williamsport, PA 17701.

Robyn E. Kline, 55, of Linden, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Gary A. Kline.

Born Oct. 11, 1966, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Norman L. Dowling and Kitty B. (Rohm) Dowling of Williamsport.

Robyn was a Williamsport Area High School graduate. She was previously employed at Riverside Market South Williamsport and Labels By Pulizzi Inc.

She was an avid animal lover, excellent baker, especially cakes and cookies and enjoyed art and crafts. Robyn was a selfless person always thinking of others first. She donated to the local food bank, VFW, and Joyce Meyer Ministries, whom she enjoyed watching her sermons.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother is her daughter, Sidney M. Kitchen of Williamsport; two brothers, Kenneth Reeder (Wendy) of Cogan Station and Scott Reeder of Marsh Hill; a sister, Shawn Reeder of Williamsport; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service to honor the life of Robyn will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in English Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robyn's name to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa., 15205.

SHAWN D. REEDER
AGE 51 YEARS

Shawn D. "Nawny" Reeder, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 in her sleep at home, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Kitty (Reeder) Dowling and the late Norman L. Dowling. Shawn had various jobs as a cook in many places but was proud to be a caregiver to children and family throughout her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and would spend hours taking her kids out to dinner and to the park to play. Shawn was known for being willing to do anything for anyone.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Reeder (Wendy) of Cogan Station, and Scott Reeder of Marsh Hill; three daughters, Dreana Reeder, Alanté Reeder, and Charlee Reeder; five grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at English Center Cemetery.
Arrangements: Knight Confer Funeral Home.

Made V. Aikeley, 84, died Tuesday July 7, 1992 at Susque-View Home of Lock Haven.
She was a homemaker and a member of the peoples United Methodist Church of Farrandsville.
She was born in Elmira New York, on March 3, 1908, a daughter of Percy and Lucy Carson Divine. She married Allen Aikeley in 1954, who survived in Renovo.

Also surviving were five sons: Leslie E. Dowling and Earl L. Dowling both of Renovo, Lawrence F. Dowling of Los Angeles, Gene D. Dowling of Tacoma Washington, and Robert E. Dowling of Columbus, Georgia; two daughters: Shirley A. McGuire and Donna D. Pick, both of Renovo; a brother: Elmer Divine of Salladasburg: 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Helt Funeral Home, Lock Haven, with the Reverend Jerry Seig officiating.
