    Rep. late Mrs. Baer,
    My name is Sheila Donoghue STACK and I am drawing up a family tree of my family. Your address was obtained from a letter received in Ireland about 1930 (a long shot) but you may be able to help. I only have two uncles alive and they are not much help even though Martin had the envelope with your address on the outside.

    3.
    My Uncle Martin says either Mary or Elizabeth married a man named Bear and there was years ago a picture in Donoghues's Grattan St. Portlaoise of 3 Bear sisters.

    V
    Daniel was my father.

    I hope you can fill in for me Timothy's father's name, etc., if not well it could be worse, but I certainly would appreciate a reply one way or the other.

    Thanking you in anticipation
    yours
    Sheila (Donoghue) Stack

    Some of the family changed the spelling of the "Donohoe" to Donoghue.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Of course we could not offer any more than fill in information about Michael's family.
    He died in 1907, his wife Bridget Duffy died about 10 years before at the age of 39. I don't know how old he was when he died. I am just getting into that. I went to Connellsville (50 miles away) but did not locate his grave.
    Sheila knew more about the Donohoes than we did. I remember my grandmother saying that her father's brother John came and stayed with him. He didn't like it , too many storms, so he returned to Ireland. This is what was in Sheila's letter. Anything in ( ) was added by me. I have never written to her but my aunt wrote several times, received cards in return.
    I hope you can fill in for me Timothy's father's name, etc., if not well it could be worse, but I certainly would appreciate a reply one way or the other.
    Some of the family changed the spelling of the "Donohoe" to Donoghue.
    Of course we could not offer any more than fill in information about Michael's family.
    He died in 1907, his wife Bridget Duffy died about 10 years before at the age of 39. I don't know how old he was when he died. I am just getting into that. I went to Connellsville (50 miles away) but did not locate his grave.
    Sheila knew more about the Donohoes than we did. I remember my grandmother saying that her father's brother John came and stayed with him. He didn't like it , too many storms, so he returned to Ireland. This is what was in Sheila's letter. Anything in ( ) was added by me. I have never written to her but my aunt wrote several times, received cards in return.
