Citation Detail: From: busi ness ; Sent: 28 October 2022 11:57; To: email address; Subject: Kenhard family; ;Hi Brian, I've been looking at your Dowling One Name website, after following a link when researching my mothers family Kenhard. I have my family tree on ancestry.com, and on my DNA matches I have some people with Dowling surname, so I am assuming we are distant cousins. My grandfather (my mothers' father) is William Henry Charles Kenhard born 1912 in Ludlow, Shropshire, and a coal miner in Kent. His father was William Sebastian Albert Kenhard born 1889 Ludlow, a hairdresser then coal miner. His father was William Kenhard born 1865, a blacksmith in Ludlow. I would be interested to know how we are related in the family tree. Also, I have been trying to find any WW1 records for my great grandfather - William Sebastian Albert Kenhard - but have not been successful. I have found WW1 records for his younger brother Mark Samuel Dudlas Kenhard who was in The King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Any information you can share will be useful. Best wishes, Jonathan Dawson,
